Treasure Island

"Fifteen men on the dead man's chest-Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum!"
Treasure Island, by Robert Louis Stevenson, tells the adventure of a young English boy named Jim Hawkins.  After Jim's home was raided by pirates, he embarks on a journey with his friends the doctor and the squire to find a lost treasure.  However, once their journey at sea begins, they find that their ship is full of mutineers ready to strike.  Upon reaching Skeleton Island, Jim and his companions must use all of their wits to escape the clutches of the mutineers and find the treasure.  Treasure Island is a marvelous work of fiction and it's legacy continues to thrill readers today.  I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to relive a journey of greed, treachery, and daring.
