CHERUB Mission 1: The Recruit by Robert Muchamore tells the story of James Adam from the day his mother dies. Read about his transformation from a couch potato into an amazing CHERUB agent. Meet Lauren, Kyle, Kerry and the rest of the cherubs for the first time and learn how James foiled the biggest terrorist massacre in the history of Britain. This book is directed towards young adults and teenagers who love action and adventure.  Robert Muchamore, the author of the CHERUB series, uses great detail and incredible vocabulary, especially when James and his friends are on missions, to make the story vivid.

The Longest Yard (2005)

The Longest Yard (2005 version) is a movie where Paul Crewe (Adam Sandler), a former NFL player, gets put into prison. The warden forces him to create a football team with inmates and play against the prison guard's team. This is a great movie for anyone 13 and up, and is a great laugh.

Sherlock Holmes and the Kings Evil

Sherlock Holmes and The Kings Evil is a very well written book written by Donald Thomas.  It includes 5 of Holmes's newest adventures with his loyal sidekick Dr. Watson at his side.  The two of them embark on many journeys along the course of the story and eventually end up assisting the downfall of an anarchist gang, disrupting German communications during World War I, and  retrieving the real copy of an epic written by Lord Byron..  With his use of rich vocabulary and precise detail, Donald Thomas completely mastered Dr. Watson's point of view throughout the story while maintaining a "Sherlock Holmes" feel.  I would recommend this book to any reader with a knowledge of Sherlock Holmes or the desire to read a truly fantastic book.
