The Count of Monte Cristo

The Count of Monte Cristo tells the story of a young French man named Edmond Dantès.  It follows Edmond through his adulthood, portraying how he suffered, was in love, was betrayed, and how he sought revenge on those who attempted to ruin his life.  This original classic written by Alexandre Dumas uses very sophisticated expressions and has an immensely tangled character plot that can thrill any reader.  In my opinion, this book should be recommended to readers with a reading level of 9th grade and above.
